Public works project
The Construction Playbook, Government Guidance on sourcing and contracting public works projects and programmes, published by HM Government in 2020, defines a public works project or public works programme as: ‘All building, civil engineering, construction or infrastructure, including refurbishments and retrofit. The construction of equipment, excluding goods, is in scope.’
